Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LetsDine mobile application and website at letsdine.app (together, "the Service"), operated by LetsDine ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LetsDine. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

2. Your account

You authenticate to LetsDine with a phone number you control. You are responsible for any activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@letsdine.app.

You may have only one active account. You may close your account at any time from within the app.

3. What you can do on LetsDine

LetsDine helps groups choose where and when to eat together by collecting member preferences and surfacing matches. You can create events, invite friends, vote on dates and food, and view group results.

4. What you can't do

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. User content

You own the content you create on LetsDine — event names, descriptions, names of friends you invite, votes, and so on. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it solely to operate the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit. Don't include sensitive personal information you wouldn't want other event members to see.

6. Restaurants and third parties

Restaurant information shown in LetsDine may come from third-party sources. We don't operate the restaurants themselves and don't guarantee availability, pricing, hours, or quality. Bookings, reservations, payments, and dining experiences are between you and the restaurant.

Links to third-party services are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of third-party sites.

7. Service availability

We work to keep LetsDine available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We are not liable for unavailability, data loss, or other interruptions.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsDine and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LetsDine and its team from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date and may notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
